Lum is a space alien from the Rumiko Takahashi series Urusei Yatsura. She is an oni alien and her father Mr. Invader tried to take over planet Earth. Through a series of whacky events, Lum falls in love with a human and lives a bizarre life as his "wife" against his initial will.
